Dr Swe Myo Htet is a clinical haematologist with expertise in treating a range of benign and malignant haematological conditions. 

Swe graduated from University of Medicine, Mandalay, Myanmar and completed dual fellowship in clinical and laboratory haematology in University Hospital Geelong, Northern Hospital and Healthscope Pathology in 2016. He subsequently moved to Ballarat in 2017 and works as a clinical haematologist at Ballarat Cancer Care and Haematology, St John of God Hospital Ballarat and Ballarat Base Hospital. He also took up an appointment as a laboratory haematologist at Dorevitch Pathology.

He provides a wide range of services in diagnostic haematology, malignant hematology such as lymphoma, leukaemia and myeloma and thrombosis and bleeding disorders. In addition, he is involved in blood transfusion committee at Ballarat Base Hospital. He is also a member of Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand (HSANZ) and Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group (ALLG). 

When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family.
