For the past several years, Pohan has been providing evidence-based and up-to-date management for haematology patients in Ballarat and Grampians regions. He is proficient in treating various haematological malignancies (e.g., lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma) and general blood disorders (e.g., thrombosis and bleeding disorders).

Pohan is a staff haematologist at Ballarat Health Services and VMO at St John of God Hospital, Ballarat; he can facilitate admission of complex patients to these hospitals as needed. He has great working relationships with many tertiary haematology units in Melbourne, where patients could access clinical trials or other treatments not available in the region.

Pohan is passionate about ensuring regional patients do not miss out on getting the best haematology care possible, despite living some distance away from metropolitan hospitals.
